Hello! If we haven't met yet, my name is Kelsey Dearborn and I am the founder of Dear Kels! Dear Kels is a team of skilled experts who have come together to offer a one-of-a-kind experience to business owners just like you.
I created the Dear Kels team to not only simplify the outsourcing needs of business owners, but to find a better way to take one business and give it ALL the tools it needs to scale.
Our Story
Believe it or not, I started with a Bachelor of Social Work...yup, I was fully committed to becoming a social worker through and through, but something was tugging at me...
I always knew that I was good with computers, learned all the shortcuts, could fix minor problems or find simpler formulas in excel. Things I thought I was just good at being a millennial and all. As much as I had a plan to become a Social Worker, I was intrigued when I would hear about people working for themselves, on their own schedule. I never imagined I would be building a business for myself..and then I was introduced to the world of Virtual Assistants.
So, I took a chance, invested all of my savings into a Virtual Assistant program. I started with social media management and small tasks until I tapped into the world of Tech & Operations. From then, Dear Kels grew, and grew fast! What started with just me, has grown into a team of skilled experts that offer assistance from tech to website design, Pinterest to Podcasts and so much more.
Since then, I have worked with countless business owners on defining, refining and polishing the tech and operations side of their businesses so they can focus on what they are good at. Little did I know how imperative my time in Social Work would be when it came to creating my own business!
My time in social work not only taught me the importance of a person-centered approach, but paved the way I look at the needs of every business owner I encounter. There is no one-way to run a business and each businesses needs are unique with their tech, automations, copy, marketing strategy etc.
I am so grateful for the road that led me to where we, Dear Kels as a team, are now and cannot wait to see where we go!
How did I get started?
Rikki joined the Dear Kels team to assist in supporting women owned businesses and help them expand their reach. Rikki currently resides in Texas, where you can find her spending her free time working in photography and visiting any park she can with her pup Winslow.

Ryan takes all the tedious work out of podcast editing, and scheduling so that business owners can focus on creating captivating content for their viewers. In Ryan's free time you can catch him watching hockey or working on cars.

While Paris supports businesses with general administrative tasks, she has since specialized in copywriting and Pinterest management to not only capture a brands essence but market it. In Paris' free time, you can catch her taking her dog Blue on new adventures.
